as a GROUP CLASS coach

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about teaching movement skills to people in a supportive and empathetic environment. If you think this might be you, please read on!

About this role

As an Ideanthro Movement Group Class Coach, you will coach adults and selected teens in a small group setting. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality movement coaching in a diverse range of movement styles. As such, this is a great opportunity to expand your teaching skills to encompass a wider variety of skills than you would teach in most other fitness settings. We’re open to either a seasoned vet, or a newcomer who is eager to learn!

At Ideanthro Movement we place a high priority on delivering supportive and empathetic coaching. While we strive for excellent movement outcomes, there is no pressure nor hardcore attitudes in our gym. Everyone is supported and encouraged to develop in the manner and pace that is right for them. As an Ideanthro Movement group class coach you will play an important role in fostering this supportive environment.

At present we offer 25 group classes per week. To begin, this role will coach approximately 4 hours of group classes per week, with opportunities to take on more classes over time as the gym continues to develop. Depending on your interests, experience and qualifications, there many also be opportunities to take on one-on-one clients.

In short, if you’re passionate about teaching a broad range of quality movement and want to coach in a supportive and empathetic manner, this role is for you.
